Suzanne Daly, the designer, lives in Western Springs, Illinois with her husband, John, and three children, Colin, Dynah and Elle. Suzanne decided to start her own business to keep her busy while her children are in school. First, she took her knack for decorating and started a design consulting service. She found that took her away from her family during evenings and weekends and wasn't what she had in mind. Suzanne then saw a niche in the hair accessory market for girls. She started making wonderful headbands, bows and flower clips, working frequently until 2am because she was so passionate and excited about her work. Suzanne was so successful with her home accessory business, that she decided to go even further... Suzanne loves shopping and buying wonderful clothes for her children, however, she became disappointed in the quality and style available in high end dresses for her daughters. So, Suzanne decided to design her own dresses! She wanted dresses that were fun, fancy, stylish, unique and care free. She wanted dresses that would work for many seasons and be comfortable and easy to wear. She wanted dresses for special occasions but also dresses that girls would want to put on and run barefoot in the backyard. She wanted dresses made of exquisite silks and candy colors adorned with tulle, silk flowers and lush sashes. SassE was born!! Suzanne has a B.A. in Merchandise Management and attended the International Academy of Merchandise and Design in Chicago. Suzanne has worked in various retail management positions and as a fashion show coordinator. In her spare time, Suzanne loves to play tennis, decorate, entertain and shop!
